Context:

These represent 30–60 days/year of extreme weather or prolonged cloud cover—your worst-case scenario.

🔧 Strategy:

  • Battery remains unchanged for this example.

  • Solar generation drops to ~1.2 kWh/day per kW

  • Required PV = 25 á 1.2 ≈ 20.8 kW

🧠 Insight:

This Always On Energy design is ideal for clients who want full autonomy, even during extended grid outages or poor weather. It’s the gold standard for off-grid reliability.


The next step will add a battery to filter out days below 25%, of which there are a few every year.
