How we started.
AlwaysON Energy was born out of a genuine need to help our clients make sense of the often-confusing world of solar energy. Our journey began when a long-time client approached us with a handful of solar energy proposals they had received. What we saw was a client who was ready to sign on the dotted line, only to be left with more questions than answers.
To be able to assist our client, we delved into the intricate details of energy usage, meteorology, year-round localised solar power potential, warranty fine print, power purchase agreement fine print, and guaranteed solar output fine print. This experience was truly enlightening, and we discovered some alarming gaps in the way solar systems were being specced and sold to clients.
We realised that clients need more hand-holding than anyone could offer, and that warranty, output, and financial agreements were geared to benefit the installers and financiers. That's why we founded AlwaysON Energy, to provide a solution to these fundamental problems and to offer our clients the best possible solar and backup energy solutions.
